Humorous and viral, these pics inspired us to search the Internet for other remarkable bong-related images. Those would be called joints or Js or jays, not spliffs. A spliff is a marijuana cigarette rolled with tobacco. Two totally different things. I do agree though; I’d take a kind joint over a bong toke anyday.

If you understand how a vaporizer works the reverse happens in bongs, i.e. the THC condenses into the water as it cools, therefore giving you higher carcinogen/tar smoke to THC ratio.

This suggests that water filtration is actually counterproductive, apparently because water tends to absorb THC more readily than noxious tars.

No really though, what do you use instead of water that wouldn’t effect the thc/noxious tars ratio? Could there even be a liquid that improves it? Now that would be some good research right there.

THC has a very low solubility in water. I agree that a vape is easier on your lungs, but you need to recheck your sources.

Actually if you use vodka or a different hard liquor then you get really trashed…the thc will bond with the alcohol molecules, bringing you some happy smoke! Also, homer only uses bad english..he meant to say that using water gives a higher tar/carcinogen to thc ration compared to a vaporiser.
On a side note vapes are better for you, and get you pretty chiefed, but they kinda make the weed taste like burnt popcorn..its not the best taste ever..if im gonna smoke some weed i want some nasty good old weed smoke!!

You know how people talk about making weed tea? Well, THC is fat soluble, not water soluble. That means that it is more readily absorbed into fat than into water. That’s why it stays in your system for so long. So, What’s better than weed tea? The answer my friends, is “Pot-Chocolate”. Take some milk, powdered chocolate milk mix, and stir together. Then take a normal teabag and snip the corner off to empty the contense. Grind your herb down very finely and put into the teabag. then tape it shut or staple it, or whatever. Put it in your drink mix and microwave till it’s boiling. Set in the fridge to cool off and allow time for absorbtion. Final step, enjoy!

spliff is regional. i know in the uk and alot of other places it means a joint with tobacco but here its interchangeable with joint. theres alot of nicknames and they all mean the same thing, except for blunt which is obviously rolled with cigar (tobacco) paper

bongs are the shit. very little thc would be absorbed in water. BUT we do need to come up with an alternative bong liquid that would absorb toxins and not the tetrahyrdrocannabinol
A few things should be cleared up here. Bongs are not meant to filter out the tar, they are meant to cool the smoke. The real reason weed is bad for you (probably the only reason
) is that the hot smoke actually burns the small capillaries in your lungs. That is my joints and blunts are the worst for your lungs, b/c the smoke is so hot. In general weed smoke doesn’t have much tar. Of course vaping has no real negative effects, but there are very significant benefits to using a bong.
Also, a spliff always contains tabacco and is not the same as a joint. That’s not regional, unless people not knowing what the are talking about is a regional thing.

well yeah, thc is fat soluble, which is why when you make weed-tea, you’re supposed to add a tablespoon of butter to actually absorb the thc.
